Out of the vintage synths I've played I liked the sound of the Minimoog, MaxiKorg, and Jupiter 4 the best. From what I've heard in recordings and on the internet I think the old Oberheims (Ob-x, 2 voice, 4 voice, 8 voice) sound really good. The Yamaha CS-80 and GX-1 sound really good for certain sounds.
