How do you identify wire sizes
AWG wire sizes are measured by their gauge, which can be converted to imperial measurements. Wire sizes get larger as the gauge number gets lower, from 40-gauge all the way down to 0-gauge or 0.325 inches. Sizes larger than 0-gauge are listed as 00, 000 and so on.white

Is blue wire an L or N : The neutral wire colour is blue. The neutral wire transfers electricity away from the appliance to avoid overloading. It is located at the end of the circuit for connection after the electricity has flowed around the live and earth wires.
What happens if you mix up live and neutral wires
