Happy Thanksgiving to all of our US neighbors on Thursday November 24. Send us some turkey and fixings please.
Interview schedule for the rest of the year:
The long awaited interview with Will and Taylor will be live this coming Wednesday, November 23rd.
I will be interviewing Josh Lanyon on Wednesday, December 14 just before he takes off on his sabbatical.
Thanks to everyone who submitted questions for the Adrien and Jake holiday interview which will be the final one this year and it’s scheduled for Tuesday, December 20. This is a joint interview and it will be posted on Josh Lanyon’s blog as well as this site.
This week Jaye Valentine’s essay on Friday, November 25 is called “Bye Bye Bookstores?”
Next Tuesday, November 29 Josh Lanyon is writing about For Love or Money.
We’ll be a little light on reviews for the next while because a few guest reviewers are taking a break. LeslieS’s last book review was on November 16 and she will not be reviewing M/M books for a while since the current crop of books in the genre have not come up to her expectations, a problem that other readers, including yours truly, are having. However Leslie will continue to review movies and I know you can’t wait for them especially since the holiday buying season has already started. I would like to express my deep appreciation to Leslie for all her hard work. Lasha will probably be away until the first of next year because of other commitments. I have not heard from Buda in a while so I’m not sure of his status.
Great News: Many of you voted for Hot Head by Damon Suede in the Goodreads Romance Readers’ Choice Award for 2011 and It Gets Better by Dan Savage and Terry Miller in the GR Best Non Fiction category. Both books are now in the semi finals and I have linked the categories in case you have read these books and loved them and would like to vote for them again.
I have a bit of information for fans of the Cut & Run series if you haven’t already heard the news. Madeleine Urban has decided to give up writing altogether so that she could focus on her health and family. While we’re all sorry to lose Madeleine, the series will continue with Abigail Roux writing both Ty & Zane and I’m sure Abigail will do an excellent job of crafting the further adventures of two of our favourite heroes.
This weekend the following books were reviewed: Riot Boy by Katey Hawthorne reviewed by Raine; A Blinded Mind by Cari Z reviewed by Jenre; Ghost Station by Adam Fitzroy reviewed by Sirius. If you haven’t seen these reviews this is your chance to check them out. They are all linked.
