Readers’ Favourite YAOI Books

A few weeks ago Tam did a post about YAOI here. There was a lot of interest by readers and so many titles of favourite books listed on the post that Ingrid volunteered, by raising her hand in the air, :) when I asked for someone to put a list together of your favourite YAOI reads. So here is Ingrid’s first attempt, with Tam’s help,  at a list of Readers’ Favourite YAOI Books. This list will be updated with your input every 3 – 6 months to keep it current.

Because there were so many titles Ingrid did some editing. You will also note that there is a separate section for anime.

Thanks to all the readers who sent in their favourite books – we couldn’t have done this without you. :)

From here on, all the narrative as well as the titles were put together by Ingrid

**********************

The list is in alphabetical order by mangaka ( artist and writer of manga) with some of the recommended reads. Listing all of the available books simply would be too much as some of these writers have produced a lot of work.

Zetsuai and Bronze (Everlasting Love): As with all others these are in bookform too. But I did not like the artwork so I never read them but in anime it works much better.

  • Tam and Ingrid
Just wanted to say thanks fo the hard work! finally had chance to watch Junjou Romantica, and Junjou Romantica 2, as well as Okane ga Nai; which was a little odd but really enjoyed both

  • Sadly Heidi, Viewfinder is quite a hard to get hold of manga. Not sure if any of you are aware (other than current manga/yaoi fans) that manga and yaoi novels only have limited release numbers. If you don’t get them fairly quickly they soon run out. Then you can only get them for ridiculous amounts of money or if they are popular enough to have a 2nd release. Good source to buy is Akadot.com

    Happy reading all 😀

  • hello,
I don’t know if you have mentioned this website:
    http://www.animea.net/
You go to the Anime page and then you can select the kind of amine you want to see (using filters)and you can also find mangas
    have a nice day,
    mona

    • I second this sentiment. I rarely find good review for Yaoi manga/novel. I hope you can do this again sometime soon. :)
